I giggled when I saw the September kit...giggled with excitement! I absolutely loved it and LOVE making mini albums. So I used the entire kit to put together this mini album that I will make a perfect gift for my niece who is having her 4th baby in just 2 short months.
We know you will enjoy the September kits as much as we all did!

Hi all .... this is my take on the kit ..... I love scrapping and was so happy that I actually finished all of my projects for this month!
The First project is my Smile Card. I bought that stamp set a while ago and am so excited that I used it on here ... it is just perfect for that paper.

The second one is a chipboard album that I had sitting around .... I used all of the Serendipity Kits September Kit Jenni Bowlin's Front Porch on this .... it is all about my wonderful, beautiful girls. Well .... "our" girls ... LOL
and last but not least .... here is the final thing I did with the kit. I chose to do the square jar .... and I cut out one of the daisy's and then put a butterly on it .... sory for the yucky photo ....

I love getting Milissa's kit in the mail & this month was no exception!
I took these picures last year & never did anything with them... until now. It shows a sampling of what each work day is like for me. Coffee, Howard Stern, To Do List, Traffic, Dinner, Books with the little girl, snuggling by the TV, and bed.
Next I decided to do a layout about our smallest family member, our dog Buddy. I love all the patterns put together along with the polka dot (making memories) letter stickers.
Then I did a layout about six women who are like sisters to me. We call ourselves the "Shovel Sisters" (because if one of us killed someone the rest of us wouldn't question it, we'd just show up with a shovel to help bury the body) ;)
Such a fun kit! I hope you enjoy it too!

Hello, all! It's been a bit. I had some maternity time off so it was
like Christmas morning when the Serendipity kit hit my door!

Adie's going to be in a wedding next month and we went to the dress
store to try on some dresses. This kit was PERFECT for the pictures!
I cut around the die cut piece of paper that was in the kit this month
so I could have 2 die cuts. Yes, I love them that much. =) I put some
of the patterned paper inside the tags to give a different look.

This is our new family! I always have the hardest time with the tags
that already have a ton of writing on them. I decided to make it my
title and add a few things to it like ribbon and chipboard.

Here is the inside of the die cut (the yellow spotted paper). The
page is about how we came up with Joya's name. I added a list of my
favorite names after daddy had crossed out the one's he didn't like.
I think it will be fun for her to see what she could have been named!
Just cut out some hearts and added some hand-stitching.

Hi all !!!
Well there have been a few changes at Serendipity. With the economy the way it is .... I have decided that I am going to be doing some of the designing to save on shipping. I have not gotten rid of the DT if that was what you were thinking!!!! I love my DT ... so they are not going anywhere ....I fel that this was an opportunity for me to get back into scrapping also! I have not scrapped in probably over a year! .... So what I did for this month was give the DT off!!!! They have lots going on with end of school, beginning of summer stuff and graduations ... etc......
So without further ado ..... here is what I did with the June Fancy Pants Summer Soiree kit! .... Enjoy!

A friend of mine just adopted a baby girl after losing her first daughter when she was only a few weeks from delivering her. She waited 5 long years trying to have another child. this little cutie...just happened along at the right time and everything is so perfect. this May kit was PERFECT for me to put together this frameable page that I will be giving my friend next month.
Just because the patterns don't seem babyish or maybe not girlie enough...try it anyway...you will be amazed.
Once I started playing with this kit, I couldn't stop!
It started with a layout:
I just LOVE that owl stamp! I used glitter gel markers to color in some of him & added a glue/clear coat to the top of the color. So - it's shiny and a bit 3-D. (hard to see in this photo) I also added a flower from a previous kit.
Then I decided to tackle the mini-album. Can I just say that the chipboard looks good enough to eat! (or maybe I was just hungry while I was working on it)

I didn't do a lot of journaling because I feel like the book is self-explanatory & I wanted the focus on the photos. I used a white marker to outline the cool shape of the book, but went over it in the brown ink pad so it wasn't too bright. I added some buttons and used some border punches plus distressed the pictures. I love those cute little animals!
Then I decided to make a couple of cards:

Oh - and talk about recycling... I found this old (ugly) pack of note cards and just scrapped these right on top ofthe old (ugly) design.
And finally (well, not really because I still have plenty of paper left over) I made this sign using the tree (or mushroom?) shaped paper:
This turned out to be a great way to use A LOT of the scrap paper I hoard, um, I mean save. I used Heidi Swapp chipboard letters and painted them an orange-y color then outlined them in black. I cut out more of those cute animals - stuck with foam squares. I want to get a frame for this & hang it in my guest (scrap) room.
See what I mean about this kit being FUN? I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

The May kit was so much fun. Instead of pages, I decided to start off with some projects. My favorite being the tag. I decided to make it rustic and genealogy related since that is what I spend a lot of time doing...searching for ancestors. I used Tim Holz crackle paint to add texture.
